ONZ Merchant is an e-commerce application designed to facilitate small and medium-sized merchants in running their online businesses. With a quick registration process, merchants can easily manage their products, set prices, and manage inventory directly through the application. The order management feature allows merchants to view and handle incoming orders, while the sales tracking feature provides real-time sales analysis.

At the core of every successful product is a collaborative effort. At this stage, I engage with clients and gather documentation to better understand the issues at hand. I begin to generate ideas using empathy to ensure products are built based on user needs and utility

My prime objective at this stage is to unearth real challenges faced by merchants that I’m ready to resolve. Starting with a comprehensive survey and interviewing merchants, I need to find the solutions and visualize them.

From the survey and data I obtained, only 12% of MSMEs in Brunei Darussalam have an e-commerce platform. And lack of skills and knowledge about e-commerce marketing is a major obstacle for MSMEs.
